COMPOSITIONS :
Beneuron® Sugar coated tablet, each sugar coated tablet contains :
Thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1) 100 mg
Pyridoxal hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 200 mg
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 200 µg
PHARMACOLOGY:
Thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1) is important for carbohydrate metabolism, in the body it will converted into its active form (Thiamine pyrophosphate) which is a coenzyme in α-keto acid decarboxylation reaction. Pyridoxal hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) in the body will be transformed into Pyridoxal phosphate, which is a coenzyme for carboxylation and transamination reactions, functioning mainly in the metabolism of proteins and amino acids. Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) is needed in the synthesis of nucleic acid and myelin, thus affecting the maturation of cells and maintaining wholeness of the nerve tissues.
INDICATION :
For therapy of Thiamine mononitrate (Vitamin B1), Pyridoxal hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) and Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) deficiency, as in polyneuritic.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION :
1 sugar coated tablet daily, or according to doctor’s instructions.
CONTRAINDICATION :
Hypersensitivity to any component of this drug.
WARNING AND PRECAUTION :
Should not be use in patients receiving Levodopa therapy.
ADVERSE REACTION :
Long term usage of high dose Pyridoxal hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) can cause neuropathy syndrome.
