COMPOSITIONS :
Paramol® Syrup 120 mg/5 ml, each 5 ml (a measurement spoonful) contains : Paracetamol 120 mg.
DESCRIPTIONS :
Paramol® with Paracetamol as active ingredient is available in drops 100 mg/ml, syrup 120 mg/5 ml and caplet 600 mg.
INDICATIONS :
Relieve pain in the state of headache, toothache and reduce fever.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATIONS :
0 – 1 year : ½ measurement spoonful (2.5 ml), 3 – 4 times daily.
1 – 2 years : 1 measurement spoonful (5 ml), 3 – 4 times daily.
2 – 6 years : 1 – 2 measurement spoonfuls (5 – 10 ml), 3 – 4 times daily.
6 – 9 years : 2 – 3 measurement spoonfuls (10 – 15 ml), 3 – 4 times daily.
9 – 12 years : 3 – 4 measurement spoonfuls (15 – 20 ml), 3 – 4 times daily.
Or according to doctor’s prescription.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
- Patients who hypersensitive to this drug.
- Patients with severe hepatic impairment.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS :
- It should be use with caution in patients with kidney disease.
- If fever did not decrease during 2 days or after 5 days of pain does not disappear, contact your doctor immediately.
- Use of these drugs in patients who consume alcohol may increase the risk of impaired liver.
- Use of high dosage may cause liver damage.
- Not recommended for concomitant use with other medications containing Paracetamol.
